Anne Marie Macari
Anne Marie Macari is the author of six books of poetry,including the forthcoming Amerigun, (Persea, ‘26). Macari’s first book, Ivory Cradle won the Honickman/APR First Book Prize in 2000, chosen by Robert Creeley. With Carey Salerno she edited Lit From Inside: 40 Years of Poetry from Alice James Books. Her poetry and essays have been widely published in magazines such as The Iowa Review, Field, and APR.
Sally van Doren
A poet and artist, Sally Van Doren is the author of four poetry collections, including Sibilance (LSU Press 2023) and Sex at Noon Taxes which received the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets. Her poems have been featured by Poetry Daily, Poetry London, The New Republic, Poetry Ireland Review, Prairie Schooner, NPR, PBS, The Poetry Foundation and nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
Van Doren holds degrees from Princeton and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She teaches poetry workshops in public libraries and has taught for the 92nd Street Y. She maintains her studio in West Cornwall, CT.
