Joan Larkin

 

Joan Larkin is the author of Old Stranger (Alice James Books, 2024), and five previous poetry collections, including My Body: New and Selected Poems and Blue Hanuman (Hanging Loose Press). She co-translated Sor Juana's Love Poems with Jaime Manrique and has edited four anthologies, including the groundbreaking Gay and Lesbian Poetry in Our Time with Carl Morse. A lifelong teacher, she has served on the faculties of Brooklyn College, Smith, and Sarah Lawrence, among others. Her honors include the Shelley Memorial Award, the Academy of American Poets Fellowship, and National Endowment for the Arts and Lambda awards.

 

Elaine Sexton

 

Elaine Sexton is a poet, critic, teacher, and micro-publisher. Site Specific: New & Selected is her fifth collection of poetry. Formerly a senior editor for ARTnewsand visual arts editor for Tupelo Quarterlyher reviews and essays have also appeared in Art in Americaand Art New England. She is the author of the libretto, The Post Office, a chamber opera in poems, in collaboration with composer Laura Kaminsky, commissioned by Queen City Opera and developed by Opera Fusion: New Works/Cincinnati Opera. She lives in New York and teaches at the Sarah Lawrence College Writing Institute.
