Biography
Volker Hüller (b. 1976) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He studied under the late Norbert Schwontkowski at the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg. Solo exhibitions include Van Doren Waxter, New York (2018); Produzentengalerie, Hamburg (2017); 11R, New York (2016); Grimm Gallery, Amsterdam, Netherlands (2016); and Timothy Taylor, London (2013). Hüller’s work has been included in group exhibitions at Nicelle Beauchene, NY; Saatchi Gallery, London; the Falckenberg Collection, Hamburg; and Kunsthal Kade, Amersfoort, Netherlands. Selected public collections include The Museum of Modern Art, NY and the Israel Museum.
